Spike Protein is a short fanfare for 12 oboes. The work is approximately two minutes and fifteen seconds in duration and well-suited for the beginning or ending of a doublereed/oboe event or studio recital. The oboists can play in-person (ideally) or click-track materials can be provided (contact me) to enable you to make a socially distant recording if that is your wish.

This piece was written in early 2021 for students at the Curtis Mentor Network, so that we could play something together at a time when this was not really possible.
